Child Protection at Peace Church
To provide safe spaces and a healthy environment for our children and youth we take a couple of actions:
Certificate of Good Conduct (CGC) / Erweitertes Führungszeugnis (EFZ)
Each youth and children's worker (volunteers and staff) are required to give insight in their Record of Good Conduct (Erweitertes Führungszeugnis). Insight is given to the senior pastor of Peace Church. Only the name of the person giving inside, the date of issue, the birthdate and the date of insight will be recorded.
You can apply for the CGC/EFZ at the Bürgerbüro responsible for your place of residence.
For Munich the Record of Good Conduct can be obtained from the Kreisverwaltungsreferat - Bürgeramt, München. An application can be made by postal mail.
If you apply by postal mail you MUST hand your application over to Pastor von Wascinski first in order to have your signature legally verified. Your application will then be send to the Bürgerbüro directly from the Peace Church office.
You need to use both of these forms in order to apply for the CGC/EFZ:
The application and the request form needs to be completed with the DATE, as well as your NAME, FIRST NAME, DATE OF BIRTH, NATIONALITY and HOME ADDRESS.
You should receive it back within about 3 weeks. It will take longer if you have more than the German citizenship.
After having received your certificate of good conduct, please hand it over to the pastor. You will receive it back as soon as possible. No copy will be made. Only the issue date, the date of inspection, as well as your first and last name(s) will be recorded.
Step by Step
- Download the request and application form.
- Fill both forms in and sign them.
- Take them to your Bürgerbüro personally
- OR — in order to apply by postal mail — hand them over to Pastor von Wascinski.
- Once you have received the CGC/EFZ show it to Pastor von Wascinski.
- DONE.
- Thank you for your effort in order to increase child protection at PCUM.
